That word “But ” is used so often and it will not serve you any purpose.
Without realising we all use and it’s challenging and doable habit to break, as I explain below.
Everything after the “but ” is a sentence you give power to and somehow we allow ourselves to say it’s ok.
For example “I want success on social media but I have no time to learn any social media skills” or “I want to lose weight but I have no time to go to the gym” . We give power to the second half and totally disregard the goal, it’s so easy to do.
What happens then? It’s simple, we just do no not do it.
You can lose the “but ” by taking it away all together and replacing it with an “and”. Let’s use the examples above
I want success on social media and I am finding time to learn social media skills or I want to lose and I will be finding the time to do so. The turns that goal into a positive motion rather than negating it.
Now there will be times where ” but ” has to be to be used however replace it with “however ” yep it works every time.
The power of words will limit your belief system and will not attract your tribe.
