Example #1: You do not have a lot of time, but you have more money
So you are at a point where you have more money to invest. This is where you can actually start using paid strategies.
What does this actually mean? With paid strategies, you can:
- Run Facebook ads
- Focus on building up your fan page
- Put out content
- Get certain aspects of your marketing in place
- Create a funnel
- Offer a free training
This is where you use paid ads as a way to get out there and be one to the masses,as opposed one to one, which can be very time consuming. You may not be able to have as many conversations if you’re limited on time, but you can definitely utilize money that you have to create and start using ads.

Outsourcing is a great way to get more done, if you are limited with time. Initially I totally get it, its scary and hard to let go but once you do you will never look back.
Example #2: You have a lot of time, but you don’t have a lot of money
In the beginning focusing in more free strategies is most common for many business owners.
What are some of these Free strategies?
- Putting out valuable content via Facebook Lives, recording to posts, posting recorded videos to grow your audience on Social Media
- Talk to more people. The more eyeballs you cab get on your profile the better it is for your business. They will see what you have to offer.
Example #3: You don’t have a lot of time and don’t have a lot of money
This is one thing that’s pretty important; maybe you don’t have either. Maybe you think, “I don’t have a lot of time to build my business, and I really don’t have a lot of money.” You have to be ok with the fact that it will take longer than you anticipated. Definitely trust in the journey, have trust in the process.
Now here’s one thing I will tell you, especially for those of you who might say, “I’ve got a lot of time, but I don’t have any money right now to really invest.”: Although you may not have any ad budget now, you definitely need to look at starting to create one. This is one area that as your business grows you should put a bit aside to grow your advertising budget.
You are not alone. In the beginning I had a zero ad budget. I focused on talking to more people. But as I saw it was crucial to save me time as I targeted a larger audience. Don’t think you will not make errors though…it’s trial and error!! Facebook Ad definitely has grown my business. This is the marketing system I use to teach me to how to do just that, place a Facebook advertisement.
Those are really the two things you have to leverage as a business owner. You either have TIME, or you have MONEY. And depending on what you have, that’s where you need to figure out what your strategy is going to be. What are you going to do to create more time or to create more money to spend on your business to eventually scale it? Have in the back of your mind that to scale your biz you really need an advertising budget as well as utilising those free strategies.
